Many of us don't realize how much a Mother does in our lifetime until you have your own child and you experience the unconditional love and dedication. From the moment the child is in the womb, a beautiful life begins to grow in you and you will be forever stronger and tougher. That is when the Will to do whatever it takes for your child flourishes.
I am a mother of three and I am grateful for all the love and craziness I have in my life. There is not one word that sums the experience of being a Mother; it brings so many feelings that come with the responsibility. There are days full of bliss and there are days I am exhausted and feel so disorganized; I do what I can but feel so guilty. Other days, I am a powerhouse and everything is in order, I stay up, energy up and I have created magic for my kids so that I can see their big bright smiles. As a parent, there is always something you have to do and work on and it feels like it is never ending, sometimes you feel like you just can’t continue, the anxiety, it all gets to us, there is just so much we can juggle. I think of my mom and think, how did she do it? Multiple jobs, so much responsibility, always hustling one way or another but she did it and I am grateful for it.
As I continue my journey of motherhood, I have learned to accept help and to focus on the simple things and enjoy the moment. It is hard to accept help sometimes, to let someone in, you always think, I can do it myself, I like to do it this way... I will just do it… I will get to it eventually. I want to share with you that acquiring and accepting help is a wonderful thing and will give you time to focus on more important things. If you do not want to accept help with your children, do it with your house or your job to give you more freedom.
We as Moms and Dads juggle too much, it is so much and sometimes you just need to be realistic about how much can you really handle. Accept the help where you are able to, you and your children will be better for it. It is okay to let others help you accomplish the one million and one things on your list. Use your DIVINE instinct and accept help or get help to ease your load and enjoy your kids.
You will always be DIVINE and MAGICAL in your child’s eyes, just do the best you can and keep moving forward. You are AWESOME.
